My Baby's 1st Birthday Party at Jollibee

Hello! I'm here to share my experience celebrating a birthday party at Jollibee. This is based in my own opinion but it is not true to all branches.

Ever since my daughter was born, I always wanted to celebrate her birthday with all the people that matter to us without hassle because my mom doesn't want to have children running in her beloved figurine collection. My partner and I decided that we have it either in Jollibee or McDonalds because it is within our budget and children love eating at those fastfood chains (Heck, even me.).

What convinced us to choose Jollibee over McDonald's is the Hello Kitty theme which we all love. We also attended a Jollibee party and somewhat we liked it. But the other scenario happened at our own party which made me not to have another party at Jollibee.

We went to the nearest Jollibee store which is in Mandalagan here in Bacolod. We saw a party which was somewhat unorganized yet when we asked the staff what happened to the party, he said that it was booked only a few days before the party which was a relief because we booked a month before the birthday. We opt not to get giveaways from them which was also good because I don't know what will be their giveaways which I heard from others was kinda cheap.

Fast forward to the birthday.

We arrived at the venue which was decorated with balloons but the place was disorganized. What happened? The party starts at 4:00 and there were no prizes and I kept asking for the host what are the prizes. WTF! (Sorry for my language.) The prizes are just a pack of candy which was very cheap from what is shown in their brochure. Also the memo board was crumpled. And so I was aggravated but I let my temper behind my back.

So, the games started and the guests enjoyed (what a relief). Then, here comes the food with no waiter serving to the guests. So I was the one who served it. My temper was already full packed. I lashed out my anger to the host and all he did was smile.

What really made me happy was th arrival of Jollibee. My daughter got really excited and she started dancing with Jollibee. He led with all the games which made the children and even adults participate. With all the mishaps, I still got happy because I saw that all enjoyed the party and the glow in my daughter's eyes seeing her very happy on her special day.

My verdict: Never to have another party at Jollibee Bacolod Mandalagan branch due to:

1: The game prizes were really not similar from the brochure (Imagine eating an ube candy because that was there prize, for the love of Ube)
2. There were no crew serving the food
3. Very disorganized
4. The hosts were sulking in the corner (Why did they become one if they just wanna be grumpy)

But after all these experiences, I will still eat at Jollibee because I love their Cheesy Bacon Mushroom which is divinely delicious.

On Dealing with Primary Complex

Hey lovelies! Let me share my experience when my 10 months old baby girl was diagnosed with Primary Complex.

To make the story short, my poor little girl had her general checkup to a pediatric pulmonologist and she suspected that my daughter had this worrisome disease which was transferred by an infected person with TB (tuberculosis). For an in depth explanation, here's the link: Tuberculosis in Children

The doctor told us that TB doesn't show symptoms if it is in its latent phase. It is like a backstabber(Haha.). She did an Mantoux Test on my daughter's forearm and also requested for Chest PA X-ray. After 72 hours, the skin test is negative (it is not fullproof, a.k.a. not a reliable detector for all) but in the X-ray, it shows that my daughter really has it. She told us not to worry about it too much because no matter how much you protect your LO(little one), he can still acquire diseases like TB because it is transmitted through the air which definitely sucks and anyone can have it.

After some quite Q & A between us and the doctor, she prescribed Kidz Kit 3 Forte which contains 3 bottles in it.

Kidz Kit 3 Forte

The doctor advised me to give Curazid Forte and Natricin Forte 1 hour before breakfast. She told me that it works better on an empty stomach while Zcure every after dinner but only for 60 days. Now, my LO is still taking the remaining 2 meds until her next checkup and have another round of test to see if it is still present in my LO's system. I hope that she would be free from it soon so that she can enjoy her breakfast immediately after she wakes up everyday.

My advice to mommies like me is that if you notice something in your child, never neglect it 'cos you might not now that your child's health is at risk.
